INPE Participates in Rio+20

The impacts of climate change are being presented by experts from the Brazil’s National Institute for Space Research (Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais - INPE) at the ‘Pop Ciência’, a public place of the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development, Rio+20.

Through Rede CLIMA (Brazilian Research Network on Global Climate Change) and the National Institute of Science and Technology for Climate Change, INPE integrates the place prepared by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MCTI) for presentation of programs, projects and actions developed by its research institutes, social organizations and agencies.

The Pop Ciência activities – Place of Science, Technology and Innovation for Sustainable Development – take place between June 13 and 22 at the ‘Armazém 4’ of Pier Mauá in Rio de Janeiro city.
